We've launched!

Well, we’ve successfully launched. And only about a dozen fires. So, our most successful launch yet!

There are several big stories to be found in this announcement, so I’ll stop holding out and just list what I can think of right here:

  1. So many industry leaders have gotten together to make the cloud easier for you- yes, you!- to use.
  2. We have established one of the first open source projects to tackle cloud application services, as opposed to infrastructure services.
  3. Zend has made a small step for PHP, one huge leap for PHP-kind in to the cloud.

I’d like to personally call out a few people who helped make this happen. In alphabetical order: Andi, Brad, Eldad, Jim, Lisa, Martha, Matthew, and all the ZF contributors. Special thanks to Forrest of Digitalus fame for helping us out with the site.

All right, enough for now. Back to coding up some delicious code to get your mouth watering.

Til soon!
,Wil
